Buttercups and Hawkweed
Every summer I get a little bit obsessed with wildflowers, to the point where I beg my partner not to mow to protect the hawkweed and the buttercups. We compromise and he leaves large areas open and only mows paths so that the pollinators and I can enjoy their splendor… This is an ode to the big birch in our front yard and all the pretty flowers that grow at her roots…
