In the middle of June I awoke early to rain just as the clouds were starting to clear. I donned my rainboots and took my coffee and the pup for a walk around the land. I was met with the most dynamic scene. A slight breeze from the north and the most magnificent clouds were scattering across the sky as the sun broke on the horizon. The lupines were in full bloom, this is the spirit of a northern summer at its finest…
