Hard to believe I painted this in August of 2024. It was one of those studio sessions where I was practicing skies, sort of allowing the painting to take me wherever it wanted to go. Before I knew it, I was layering in spruce trees and balsams and playing with sunbeams by lifting out color with a wet brush, and realized that the scene was set in winter without even giving it a thought…
This is a giclée print on 200 GSM fine art paper. The paper is 100% cotton and has a matte finish so each print looks and feels like watercolor paper.
Unframed prints measure 8x10” or 11x14” with a white border made to look like matting so each piece is ready to frame.
Signed and dated in pencil by the artist on the bottom right corner, numbered in the left.
