There is some kind of ancient magic in the light of a fire, in its warmth, in its ability to gather us. I’m always moved by distant light, by the idea that someone, across the lake is stoking their fire right alongside me.

This piece is matted with 100% cotton rag core matboard and set behind glass in an authentic barnwood frame. Backing hardware (d-rings and picture wire) are hand-installed by the artist so the piece is ready to hang in your space.
